Wind Direction: sw
Wind Stength: F3 - F4
Surf / Sea State: rough
Air Temperature: ok
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: drizzly
Max Speed: too rough
Distance Covered: not much

Desperation to sail as the winter approaches when I retire got me on the water on a drizzly day. Rigged 8.5 gtx / rocket 76 combo and at first I was over powered on the big board as the sea was rough. More downhaul outhaul sorted it - but it was difficult keeping the rocket from launching off every lip.
thankfully I didn't fall in too much as you had to pick a wave for a decent gybe.
Dont think the steve's like it much, and mark had a few decent runs. I was just glad to load the arms and hook in, but 3 stars as my win double came it with st nichs abbey (watch that one for a E/W bet for the derby) and chelsea to beat blackburn ...nice..
3 *** cos I wasn't the last one out so I didn't have to shut the f....g gates :)
squiz was ...cos he had did the walk of shame when the wind dropped and the tide turned (wind with tide)
